Task 1;

Here is the only petronas fuel station in mantin town. It is in-between a restaurant and a Chinese catholic church.Its more than 15years old.The  fuel station has been a very useful to the people in the town.

This is a building that is more than 150 years old in the town. Its literally made of wood and blocks. the wood is broken and warn off. Most of the buildings in the town have personal history which isnt still discovered.

This is the side view of the Chinese church which is just next to the petronas fuel station.It is over 120 years old and was renovated so years back. There are also some old buildings at the side beside the church, which is pone of the founding buildings of the town when it started.

Here is an electric pool which holds cables which is distributed to different parts of town. Its still using the old technology.

This is the interior of a house inside the village of mantin. This is part of the window and door frame which have been destroyed by termites and whether, even grasses have become the occupant of the house.

This is the same house but inside the room area. The roof has been destroyed along side with the walls of the house. Which makes it so easily to break with a punch.

This is the living area according to my malaysian class mate(Talib) The walls are made of plywood. You can see the blue colour on the plywood have faded.

This is the backyard of the house which has partly fallen apart, lots of leaves and broken woods on the floor. Its totally deserted.

The cylindrical barrel made of cement is a kind of bath top used by the locals to bath. Its an old traditional way the shower.This is pretty old.

Still some parts of old houses in the mantin village which have been taken over by grasses.

Some renovated house in mantin that are still occupied by people there, still some of the founding families generation staying there. Some of the buildings have been broken.

This is an abandoned house which is over 100 years old,grass has covered the surrounding areas of the house in and out.

This is a Chinese alter used in worshiping their gods. The mantin town were full of chinese people living in it.

This is the exterior  back view of the village drainage system in mantin.
