BRIEF SUMMARY ON AVENGERS

"The Avengers," much awaited by Marvel comic’s fans, assembles all of the Avengers in one film: Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, the Black Widow and Hawkeye. This is like an all-star game. What always strikes me is how different their superpowers are. Iron Man (Robert  Downey) is just an ordinary guy until he's wearing his super-suit. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) swings a mighty hammer. Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) wields a bow with arrows so powerful they can bring down alien spacecraft. The Hulk ( Mark ruffalo) is a mild-mannered guy until he gets angry, and then he expands into a leaping, bounding green muscle man who can rip apart pretty much anything. Captain America (Chris Evans) has a powerful and versatile shield. Then there's Natasha (Scarlett  Johansson), aka the Black Widow.

The reason they're brought together in "The Avengers" is that the Earth is under threat by the smirking Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Thor's adopted brother, who controls the Tesseract, a pulsing cube of energy that opens a gateway to the universe; through it, he plans to attack Earth with his fleet of reptile-looking monster-machines. It goes completely unexplained where Loki now resides, how these dragon-machines are manufactured, and so on. Both Loki and Thor are obscurely related to the gods of Norse mythology, as we know from last year's "Thor," but let's not drift into theology.
Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) sends out a call to the Avengers to team up and meet this threat. He runs SHIELD, the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division, which is all I know about it. He's headquartered on a gigantic aircraft carrier that's also a hovercraft and can become invisible. By bringing the Avengers together, he of course reopens ancient rivalries (i.e., my hammer can beat your shield), until they learn the benefits of Teamwork, which is discussed in speeches of noble banality. So you see this is sort of an educational film, teaching the Avengers to do what was so highly valued on my first-grade report card: the concept of Working Well With Others.

Reflection.
This movie shows team work. One guy cannot do everything on his on without his friends help. It motivates me to be able to face my fears, example hulk had to face his inner fear (the monster in him), to control his transformation.
It also showed me many ways to approach things in different ways without getting involved.

Finally:

I pick this as the best, from my own view the name Avengers is a (negative action word)
This represent the man who assembled the Avengers. In the story line both the good Marvel hero's fought against the dark side to defend their world and city. Good and evil cannot co-exist in one world together because the cannot understand themselves. The red colour on the background shows revenge, its brings out bad side in you.

Week 1: Group critique on the drawings and paintings undertaken alongside a discussion about the exercises undertaken.
--Drawing what you see
--Drawing what you feel

 FLIP BOOK
A flip book or flick book is a book with a series of pictures that vary gradually from one page to the next, so that when the pages are turned rapidly, the pictures appear to animate by simulating kineticism or some other change. Flip books are often illustrated books for children, but may withal be geared towards adults and employ a series of photographs rather than drawings. Flip books are not always separate books, but may appear as an integrated feature in mundane books or magazines, often in the page corners. Software packages and websites are additionally available that convert digital video files into custom-made flip books.

Task 1: Basic characterization and proposing an idea.

                                                                       Minotaur

MINOTAURUS (Minotaur’s), a monster with a human body and a bull's head, or, according to others, with the body of an ox and a human head; is said to have been the offspring of the intercourse of Pasiphae with the bull sent from the sea to Minos, who shut him up in the Cnossian labyrinth, and fed him with the bodies of the youths and maidens whom the Athenians at fixed times were obliged to send to Minos as tribute. The monster was slain by Theseus. It was often represented by ancient artists either alone in the labyrinth, or engaged in the struggle with Theseus
THE MINOTAUROS (or Minotaur) was a bull-headed monster born to Queen Pasiphae of Krete after she had coupled with a bull.
The creature resided in the twisting maze of the labyrinth, where he was offered a regular sacrifice of youths and maids to satisfy his cannibalistic hunger. He was eventually destroyed by the hero Theseus.
The Minotauros' proper name Asterion, "the starry one," suggests he was associated with the  contellation Tauros

Centaurs

The Centaur's are half man, and half horse. They have the body of a horse but, in place of the horses head the have the torso, head and arms of a man. Most are wild and savage, known for lustfulness and drunkenness. The exception is the wise Centaur Chiron.
The father of Centaurs was Centaurus, who was held in disrepute by both men and gods. Some accounts claim that he was the son of Apollo and Stilbe but, the more interesting accounts say he was fathered by Ixion. He gave birth to the race of Centaurs by mating with Magnesium mares.
The pivotal event in the history of the Centaurs was their war with the Lapiths. King Peirithous of the Lapiths inherited part of Thessaly from his father Ixion. The Centaurs as grandsons of Ixion claimed they were entitled to part of the land. After a first round of fighting a peace was arranged. Peirithous invited the Centaurs to his wedding. Here the Centaurs became drunk, then violent. Under the lead of Eurytion they attempted to carry off the Lapith women. In the resulting battle the Centaurs were defeated and driven from the area.

Meanings of Analysis.

The separation of an intellectual or material whole into its constituent parts for individual study.

Chemistry definition
The separation of a substance into its constituent elements to determine either their nature   or their proportions (quantitative analysis).

Mathematical definition.
A branch of mathematics principally involving differential and integral calculus, sequences, and series and concerned with limits and convergence.
The method of proof in which a known truth is sought as a consequence of a series of deductions from that which is the thing to be proved.

Linguistics definition.
The use of function words such as prepositions, pronouns, or auxiliary verbs instead of inflectional endings to express  a   grammatical relationship; for example, the cover of the dictionary instead of the dictionary's cover.

Critical Awareness.

Critical thinking is usually the term applied to the examination of data or ideas using reasoning and logic to arrive at a conclusion, or to demonstrate that an argument, opinion or theoretical position is rational or not. There are courses of study in this subject.

I think critical awareness is different. It is (I think) the faculty of being discerning about the expressive arts such as literature, music or painting, and being able to explain and illuminate the qualities (or defects) in these things.

Both critical thinking and critical awareness require training and practice if they are to be relied upon.
